So the almighty ShahRukh Khan gets dug out from the dug-out of his team!!! Surprising, isn’t it? In a country where Prison officers shake hands with an inmate like Sanjay Dutt on his release, the Deputy Commissioner of a district in the state of Gujrat touches the feet of the Chief Minister, it seems highly unlikely that anyone would dare stop ShahRukh Khan – King Khan from entering the dressing room of his team.

While this just goes to prove how mismanaged the IPL really is, it also throws light on the fact that yes, some people are not afraid of doing their duty. The Anti Corruption Officials of the ICC evicted ShahRukh from the dressing room saying only team managers are allowed to sit with the players. This move is to counter the bookies.

ShahRukh was displeased and I think embarrassed. His ego was hurt because he was not given the privileges he is so used to. He was not treated like a celebrity but like any other person. But what is really surprising that is that a team owner is not allowed to sit with his own team. Its like “having your own cake but not being able to eat it”!!!

Now here’s a hilarious piece of news… Security Breach at the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s Residence.

Yes, two hotties along with a gay looking bloke entered the Prime Minister’s residence, 7 RCR (Race Course Road). They drove up to the main gate in a black Sonata which bore the registration number “DL4C V 0006“. The security personnel outside the main gate let the three in without checking anything!! Maybe they were intimidated by the three zeroes in the registration number !

I mean, its totally cool. The girl drove the car to the area where the VIP’s get down from their cars (I think) – the second gate. Thats where the security people refused to let them in. Even then, no one stopped them. A very hot looking chick got down from the back, took out her cellphone & made a call (in short, posed for the cameras). They reversed the car and while driving at a speed of about say 5 kmph, the girl on the driver’s seat blew flying kisses at the cameras!! Awesome!! A totally “vellah” reporter, Rahul Srivastav of NDTV actually followed the car and interviewed the driver. She was not hesistant and coolly gave the interview. The three are from Jaipur and had come to Delhi to spend their holiday. The hotties are working with Sahara Airlines as Air Hostess’.

Now the police are looking into the matter. What man… they were just a bunch of drunk kids… let them go… question the security personnel instead.

They just “jokingly” went inside cause they wanted to “meet the PM and discuss something”. OK… even I wanna meet the Governor. Any hotties ready to accompany me ?? But wait… I’m just allowed to drive a Maruti 800… what the fuck… I have no chance of getting my 15 seconds of fame !

Maybe this was supposed to be a secret meeting between the PM and the hotties but the media ruined the party. Man… the PM sure is lucky… hot girls come to meet him and that too at night. Lage raho Manu Bhai!!!

Update : The NDTV correspondent has interviewed both the girls. The names are : Yogita (the driver), Veena (the poser) and Imran (the gay). Veena is definitely the hotter of the two and all three of them were drunk. Yogita was blowing kisses and waving like a freak, Veena didn’t know her cleavage was there for all to see on national television and Imran… well Imran knew nothing. He was dazed and didn’t know what was happening. Veena admitted on camera that it was just a silly prank and was inquiring from the reporter if it was serious and would they be sent to jail for this act. The security breach happened around 8.45 PM. The PMO (Prime Minister’s Office) says that this is not a security breach. People are allowed to go upto the reception. The journalists and other so-called experts don’t agree though.

Scene 2 :
Khanna, Rahul & Bhatia leave for Mr. Beans. There they fool around with the hookah. At Beans, they meet Anjum. The four of them come back to Sector 27 to take Ankit’s car as Bhatia has to drop his car. Bhatia & Anjum leave for Sector 19 while Khanna & Rahul come a little later in Khanna’s car. While going to pick up Bhatia & Anjum, Rahul suggests something. He wants Khanna to drive towards Morni.

Scene 3 :
Bhatia & Anjum get into Khanna’s car and the four head towards Morni. Just before they take a left after Nada Sahib towards Morni, cops stop them. They ask Khanna his name etc. because five girls have been murdered there. They continue their seemingly never-ending journey because the resort Rahul had been to with his family last time is nowhere in sight. Finally after 45 minutes, they raech the Green Park resort. They walk up to the resort which is totally deserted. Only some locals are walking their goats. Bhatia and Anjum get scared and run away from the goats. The four click some pictures and leave. They get into the car and move forward towards a village called Mandhna.

I finally installed Ubuntu 6.06 LTS. The distro now comes on a single CD (Live CD + Install), just like Linspire. Pop the disc into your CD-ROM and boot. The Live CD boots the Ubuntu system where you take the OS for a spin. If you wish to install it on your PC, just click on install on the desktop while inside the OS environment.

The installation was easy and the GUI rocked because it was the GNOME desktop only. The only thing that actually troubled me was the partitioner. I could not format the partition of my choice. The partition on which I was to install Ubuntu was originally NTFS. I had thought that I would use the partitioner in the installer to reformat it to ext3. But that was not quite possible (or I was dumb to figure it out). So, I had to boot to WinXP and format the required partition.

After that, the installation went fine with just some initial problems with setting my Time Zone and Time. It hardly took 20 minutes and Ubuntu was installed. Visibly, there is not much difference. The difference is in the speed because of the new version of GNOME. I still had to go through the boring process of downloading and installing w32codecs and some essential software. Opera runs a little choppy inside Ubuntu specially if some Flash content is displayed. amaroK now comes with the xine engine by default. You still have to do some extra digging to get the mp3’s to play. The sound was a little distorted but lowering of the PCM level in the sound mixer fixed the problem.

I still find SUSE better than Ubuntu. But SUSE has its own disadvantages. You have to download 5 ISO’s whereas in Ubuntu its just one. SUSE is a bit slow whereas the GNOME environment in Ubuntu is quite fast. You still have to use the command line in Ubuntu whereas in SUSE its use is minimal. The YaST Manager in SUSE is super advanced. There is absolutely no driver problem in SUSE. SUSE plays mp3 files and the CD’s are loaded with useful software. Best of all, it runs KDE. But then, if you want KDE, you can download Kubuntu.

So if its a light OS that you require, which can perform basic tasks with a few holes, then go in for Ubuntu. You’ll need a working net connection to make Ubuntu a little more useful and powerful.

On the other hand, SUSE, although is big, contained in 5 CD’s, performs all tasks that you could expect out of your Windows box. But its a little heavy on the system resources. Net connection is not required initially. All the software is there on the CD’s.

Well I had mentioned in a Previous post that I was about to start a forum or a blog.

I’ve decided on a forum. Kumar is game. Lets see what everybody thinks.

Well it was actually very simple setting up the forum. I just changed the logo & the name of the forum already running on my domain (Theka DaRu dESi) to Tandem Felix. Now you might ask what that means. Well Tandem Felix is Latin for “Happy at last!“. André-Marie Ampère, the famous physicist had this inscribed on his tombstone. I liked the two words & have decided upon the name. If you think you have a better name (I know, you do), then just reply here & tell me.

Faridabad is not a small city… but the people there are definitely small-minded. I know because my relatives live there. Mind you, my relatives arn’t the typical Faridabadites (after all they are my relatives! ) but in general the Faridabad crowd is pathetic.

Now just click on the thumbnails and view the images. Zoom in if you can’t read properly. This is indeed shocking. I have no clue about the authenticity of the document.

But believe me it is shameful. It is more of a brothel than a school!! Don’t agree… click on the thumbnails…

UPDATE : Some readers suggest that the document is false. I have already stated above that I cannot say anything about the authenticity of the document. I found them while surfing the internet. I posted them just to express my shock and surprise over the direction in which today’s youth is heading. Even if the document is not true and completely fabricated (which is very likely), it still opens our eyes to the crazy ways the youth is adopting and the kind of thinking they are being brought up with. Remember, somebody, who thinks this way, posted this on the internet (fake or not) and it just goes to show that our present is not headed in the right direction. There is very little exposure between the members of the opposite sex. Sex education is banned. Rapists and assaulters are not dealt with properly. The youth has narrow and vague thinking. With all this happening, what moral fiber and what culture are we trying to protect? Wouldn’t it be correct to impart proper sex education and counseling to the youth so that sick minds who even write and fabricate such letters are taken care of. It is high time the system changes. And yes, my opinion of Faridabad remains the same – the city sucks.

I think such incidents happen only in places where people are narrow-minded. If there was more awareness regarding sex related issues, this would never have happened.
