Oh had lots and lots and lots of fun today!!

Went to the school in the evening. Now you would ask what is the fun in going to your old school when it is empty? Well, I earlier visited the school on 27th of April and met the teachers. Today I had gone for something different, something exciting, something…

Arjun, Abhit and I. BASKETBALL!!! Oh yeah! Just like the old days. Abhit as usual won – 1-on-1 and even 2-on-1. But it was the thrill and excitement of playing with my pals. Abhit left school in 11th so hadn’t played with him since. By God his game has improved. But my three pointers – outstanding as usual!!! Abhit too has greatly improved his shooting skills; gets almost all of them in. Ankit was missing but yeah, what the hell !!

We have a BOSS meet on 18th. A match between the old and the present students. Dunno if I’ll be playing but one thing is for sure, I’m gonna practice with Arjun & Abhit even if I don’t play.

Just received an email from Bahaar Paul, VP of BOSS with info regarding the meet. Lots of spelling mistakes but WTF… here is the email :

Well, now that you have passed out of Bhavans you become a member of the
BOSS family.
We at Boss make every possible endeavour to keep this association and spirt
alive. We work for enhancing our alumni base and organising events that
would bring all ex bhavanites on a common platform to share their
experiences and voice out their views.

So, the first event of the year is right around the corner, we are
organising a basket ball match and you are invited to be a part of it and
cheer for the BOSS team. The match will be in school and the details are:

Date: 18th May 2006 ( Thursday)
Venue: Bhavan Vidhyala, Basket Ball court
Time : 7:30 Am , the match starts

Also, we would be issuing ID cards to the Boss members on the same day,
once you get the ID you become a previledged member and get additional
benifits including free access to the Boss website, which will be commin up
by the end of this month.

You can meet other Boss members, the current executive board and get your
Boss Tshirts as well.

Another thing, we will soon be inducting new members to the Boss executive
Board and you are being considered for the same. There fore, the more
actively you participate now the more are the chances of your being
selected.. so gear up because this can open up a world of opportunities for
you in the future!

As for now, be a sport and drop in for the match because our association
with you is for a life time.
