Fucked up!

Life is seriously fucked up.

My board results were good. Got 73.4%. That’s more than I expected. The Mathematics marks were surprisingly low – 50. The Physical Education practical marks were surprisingly high – 30/30. I’m gonna apply for re-evaluation.

AIEEE results are also out. Got a stupid rank that won’t fetch me admission anywhere. Again, I was expecting more. But then, marks don’t lie. I didn’t study hard and now I have no one but myself to blame. The only good thing is that I was never averse to joining any college affiliated to PTU. PTU is no MIT. But all the regional universities are the same. There’s no point in going all the way to Maharashtra or Karnataka or Orissa. Barring the IIT’s, NIT’s, REC’s and a few other institutions, every other college is the same.

But I still don’t understand one thing. When I wish to pursue something in computers, why do I need to study Physics and Chemistry?

  • hey rahul mera bhi yahi haal hai…aur phir kya soocha!!!!!!!!n how waz ur PTU exam……..chal dont wry now jo hoga dekha jayega

  • physics fundas are applied while programming…..basics of chemistry come usefull in studying semiconductors and other goofy little things that r stuck up your motherboard :P

  • I hated chemistry and got good marks
I loved physics and got bad marks
I feared maths and I cleared it
Chemistry is really of no use to a student of computing but u must have some basic knowledge.
Physics is the science man. Physics is so vast. I can write a complete book. As Harry Puttar said u have to go thru them for coding.

  • Well. I am in the same boat as you are. If we want to take computers, there is no sense in studying PCM. Hell. When we program, we won’t use Newtons Laws or Differentiate.

  • I’m stumped too!! We have to go through all that torture even if its of no fucking use. All hail NCERT and CBSE !!
