Holi Update…

Holi’s long gone.
But I didn’t get a chance to blog bout it.

So here I am.

It started around 10.30 when it was raining. My neighbours called me out. I went out. I played Holi. This entry is super dumb.

Ok Ok… They called me outside. I went with my packet of gulal. Staretd playing in the rain when barely anyone was playing. Soon, the whole neighbourhood came out to join in. The house in front of mine has a deaf n dumb school. So, like every year, played Holi with the 50 kids. Its actually no fun without them. Been playing with them since… since long.

So 40-50 of us, playing Holi like freaks. Rubbing colour inside shirts, on the teeth (yuck!!).

After a while, we people get bored with the normal “sukha” rang shit. Then water comes in. But this year, since it had already rained, there was water everywhere.

We here have a tradition of throwing people in mud. So… so we did throw each other in mud. Played with the mud. Rubbed it on each other’s faces. We wet our hands with the water on the street & rubbed them on each other’s faces. You guys must be thinking… damn they are a bunch of freaks!! Oh yes we are!!

Its no fun celebrating Holi in a polite way with “herbal” colours. Its MORE FUN with mud, dirty water n all.

Here are some pics…

Ok … back to the mud bath. So, we carry each person, throw him in a dirty pool of water in front of someone’s drive, rub mud on his face, his body… Put colour, dirty water on his body.

This time, I was at the forefront. Leading. I played Holi like a freak this time. Never played like this before. Vivek Bhai (my neighbour’s son) n I… we were everywhere. Throwing water, hatching conspiracies, trapping dumb lil’ kids, playing with mud, throwing everybody around… ;)

But then… its a vicious cirle!! Finally… even I was thrown!! But its fun.

This time… there was something else which deserves a special mention.
No, no cute girls ( :( ).
Bhang!! No I didn’t drink it!! No Sir! I had scaled my neighbour’s wall in order to attack their guests who were hiding. So after a successful attack, aunty came with sweets n all. The plate also had Bhang Ke Pakode. She forcefully put one in my mouth.

Not gr8… not bad!

It was the first time I had an intoxicant. But it was just one lil’ measly pakoda. So, it didn’t have any effect on me.

Then there’s mud, eggs, water, pukka rang, water in bins n lots lots more.
If you wanna experience it… drop in at my place next year. I’ll show you how Holi is actually played.

There’s still a lot of colour on my hands, all over my body …

Damn… this scrubbing shit is killing me!!
