OK. TATA. Bye Bye.

So before Arjun a.k.a Paaji went back to Banglore, we wanted to meet up for one last time. Last night, Abhit messaged me and asked me if we all could meet up and go to the lake today morning (I mentioned that in the last post).

I told Pranshu that we would meet him outside his college at 5.30AM. I told Arjun that Abhit would pick him up around 5.30AM. But then I called Abhit. He refused to start from his house at 5.30AM. So, I told him to reach Arjun’s place around 6-6.15 cause Paaji’s known to be a late latif. And yes, Paaji got up late and he felt guilty for getting up late :P .

I woke up at 5.45AM and lay on my bed, waiting for the two kaminas to arrive. Pranshu kept messaging me. Finally Pranshu got angry and messaged me that he wasn’t going now. Just then Abhit messaegd me to come out. I washed my face, brushed my teeth and ran out. We walked to Pranshu’s college. The poor guy was standing outside :P his college with 10-20 dogs roaming here and there. We started walking and talking and walking…. towards the lake. Finally we reached the lake. We walked upto the first gazebo and sat there on the benches.

While walking upto the bench, I saw a squirrel eating something. I quietly walked upto her and clicked its photograph. This pic is dedicated to Sonia for reasons she alone knows ;) !

Here’s the view of the lake from inside the gazebo. I was sitting on the floor while the three of them were on the bench. An old lady was sitting on another bench reading the newspaper.

I believe there’s some rowing competition or something going on at the lake or must be some regular rowers practicing in the morning.
15102006041

So we left the gazebo and sat on one of the numerous concrete structures along the walking track.

15102006044

Then I got an idea. I stood up on that concrete structure and asked Abhit to click my photograph while in the air. Came out good. Then Abhit did the same. Then Arjun and I… Abhit and I. It was loads of fun. I along must’ve jumped 10-15 times because Abhit initially never got it right.

And here’s the last one from the “Jumping Edition” clicked by Pranshu. Lousy shot but what the fuck!!
15102006056

All the while, Arjun kept talking to Jaskiran on the phone. He used to give the phone to someone when he posed for a pic. Here’s Arjun with his trademark “chameli” pose.
15102006057

Then we didn’t know what to do. So we started playing with our shadows. From L to R : Arjun, I, Abhit and Pranshu.
15102006058

My shadow looks ridiculous in this one.
15102006059

Here another picture of me … as the Statue of Liberty.
This one was clicked by Abhit

and this one by Arjun

Pranshu acted like a kamina by choosing not to participate in any of the fun.

We then proceeded to the nearest stairs where Abhit started doing his funny tricks and gimmicks. He started sliding on this dangerous railing with his hands free.
15102006062

And here’s the real Abhit… rubbing his eyes… acting like a cute fool.
15102006064

All this while (yes still), Arjun was on the phone with Jaskiran.

Pranshu, Abhit and I walked ahead while Paaji the Aashiq walked at a leisurely pace behind us talking on the phone. Here’s Pranshu walking on the road between St. John’s and the Golf Course.
15102006065

Paaji still kept chatting with Jaskiran. We reached Pranshu’s college. Abhit found some peices of “choona” and flaunted his graffiti skills. Since Arjun was leaving, he wrote out a message for him on the road!!

He then proceeded to write “Pranshu luvs *****” on the road. Pranshu resisted but I held on to him. He kept kicking and pinching me but I didn’t let go. When I finally did, Pranshu grabbed another piece of “choona” and started overwriting what Abhit had written.
15102006067

Pranshu… the municipality sweeper.
15102006068

Then I clicked Arjun and Abhit beside the big message Abhit had written.
15102006069
And there’s little Pran… I mean Pranshu, in the background, still rubbing the message because he didn’t want his college mates to read it :P !!

And since Ankit wasn’t there, Abhit decided to do something bout that too.
15102006070

And here’s my geeky, nerdy self in front of Pranshu’s college.
15102006072
What was I thinking when I asked Abhit to click the photograph??!! Its stupid!!

And still… Arjun was on the phone with Jaskiran!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then we said tata to Pranshu and crossed Madhya Marg and entered my sector. As soon as we entered, we spotted something unusual. A barricading from the Delhi metro Project was being used in our sector!!
15102006073
Good… the government doesn’t waste things.

Then finally Arjun ended his 1 hour, 5 minutes and some seconds long conversation with his beloved Jaskiran. He came and apologised. He talked bout some “things” while walking to my place. Once there, Abhit sat on his bike and both the kaminas were about to leave. Just then I asked Abhit to let me ride his bike once. Surprisingly, he agreed. OH IT WAS FUN!!! My first time on a motorcycle and it was great. I drove flawlessly (almost).

Here’s my sudden transformation from a nerd behind a postbox to a macho, bike riding MALE!!
15102006074
I’m not JUST posing… I drove it!!!!

Arjun wanted to try too. He messed up Abhit’s gears a bit but he managed. Then Abhit and I went for another final ride. Fantastic. I drove at 70kmph…. not much, but a thrilling experience for a first-timer.

Then I asked Abhit and Arjun to get lost!!! :P

We started at 6.30AM and finished around 10.45AM.

It was a fun-filled morning. A perfect goodbye to Paaji. OK, TATA, BYE BYE!!!
