My problematic monitor is doing what it does best…. give problems!! Yes.
The screen has again reduced to half the original size. I can barely see what I type. Only my 6/6 eyesight & good-looks are helping me in this trying time

Its flickering like crazy, making funy noises. A burning smell is coming from it. It think its gonna explode!!! 
I hope it does. Then I’m gonna force Dad to buy me a LCD monitor not a CRT this time.
Let the fireworks begin!!!
And more problems… this time my body’s givin me trouble as usual. Caught cold again… yes again!!! Damn… gotta force dad to buy me a new body too!!

how long has it been? CRT tends to get sick of working over the years n finally ditches before your girlfriend does!
6 years I think… has already blown out thrice!!!
I think thats cuz of fluctuations. Altho my sector rarely experiences cuts (its not a VIP sector or something), but fluctuations, thunderstorms etc… and I kicked my UPS repeatedly & now its dead. Well, its been dead since the last 5 years.
The mistake I made the first time wuz that I gave it to a desi “engineer” for repair.
six years is long enough….its time to have a new baby…oh i mean a new monitor….CRT tends to have a limited life depending upon usage n all.
Its on like 24 hrs a day…. for most days of the year. Even though its off from the front, its still connected to the main power. Someone told me that could be the cause of my “baby” dying.

not not that. it’s only when the CRT is actually being burned up….i.e used up…that counts.
