This is my personal space and I write whatever I feel like. Putting a few ads does not mean it is a commercial venture.

but what is all this stuff meant to prove? it appears a timepass of some gossip mongers. despite all such scandals happening, a school can still excell in academic performance… then why some folks crying to prove the worth of their school. and about which is the best or worst school… who gives the F!!

ppl here need to get a life and not bother about trivial matters. scandals, controversies, politics are everywhere. who gives the F!!!

I am a proud student of Delhi Public School Faridabad. Let me assure you that is one the best schools ever and none of the stuff in the ‘letter’ is true.

Well enough history about the city and lets talk about the people. Well you all seem to be educated people – simple economics & common sense would tell you what kind of crowd would a city attract if the main money making activity is the manufacturing sector? Workers right? hence a huge lower middle/working class in fbd. Second the people who run the manufacturing businesses in India are not the most highly educated people themselves – these facts are true about the entire country!
There is a small educated class – that you might call rich/polished – the class that you guys claim to belong to or the class that you all wish to be a part of. Growing up in India we all know the difference in the mentalities of people like us and a random person walking down the street. Even in cities like Delhi/Bombay you won’t find amazingly classy people walking down the street – the fact that these cities are much bigger make the number of educated people in them obviously larger.

When it comes to education I think that Modern Vidya Niketan and DPS ate the powerhouses of fbd and anyone who challenges the academic competence of these schools is not only ignorant but also stupid. If you go check the numbers both these schools send at least 20-30 kids to the IIT’s every year – a huge number for any school. DPS faridabad holds records for the highest average score in class 10th and 12th CBSE exams across all DPS’s. DPS faridabad consistently ranks among the top 5 DPS’s in all ‘DPS meets’. At least this was the case when I was there.
About the letter – I think its a horrible attempt to defame the school. I won’t deny that things like that might happen – in fact I have seen people getting involved in sexual activities with their classmates – but haven’t you guys? The letter exaggerates stuff by miles… What about the countless mms cases that come out everyday? I think that glorifying sex is the fault of the new Indian television/Bollywood and we should blame one particular community for it.

I have studied in 3 different countries and have received awards that a lot of you might read about in the newspapers – I wanna keep this anonymous – but I got a lot out of DPS Faridabad. You guys shouldn’t talkcrap about something that you don’t really know about!
