Well I had mentioned in a Previous post that I was about to start a forum or a blog.
I’ve decided on a forum. Kumar is game. Lets see what everybody thinks.
Well it was actually very simple setting up the forum. I just changed the logo & the name of the forum already running on my domain (Theka DaRu dESi) to Tandem Felix. Now you might ask what that means. Well Tandem Felix is Latin for “Happy at last!“. André-Marie Ampère, the famous physicist had this inscribed on his tombstone. I liked the two words & have decided upon the name. If you think you have a better name (I know, you do), then just reply here & tell me.
Further, most of you who visit the blog actually have accounts on TDd… Click Here to Login. Just login & check the forum in its present forum. Tell me if you like it. Tell me if you want something in it. I WANT FEEDBACK!!

c d name z nice, d layout z almost d same but i think dat d font of tandem felix dosen’t go vid its meaning. it still reminds of d daru n theka stuff. it dosent strike u as much d meaning does.
ok…i’ll change the font of the header image but i’m still not in favour of changing the skin. If i find a gud b/w friendly skin… ill change the look completely.
One more thing… I’m deleting all the members n all the posts.. a lil over 900posts (includes replies)… songs… jokes. I’m starting from scratch. Fresh database, fresh install.

n 100 members… not tuff 2 get back… i got them without ne promotion in a few months time… n i’m confident of getting them back!
i found d skin/ layout fine, but if derz a better 1, go 4 it.

forget the password… im deleting every1… everybody will hve to register again.
c the thing is … when i first started the forum, it was on ipb.. then i switched to SMF. then i switched back to IPB. thats when the problems started. the login process of smf is different from IPB. so i had to add a “convertor” in between for ipb to read the passwords. then i changed ipb 2.1 (illegal nopy) to 2.x (trial). But theres no direct way to do that. I had to convert it 2 phpBB n then convert phpBB to IPB 2. I think the passwords that were messed up due to smf got further messed up.
Some user ids got interchanged. it was all a big mess. but now its all gone!!
